In writing these blogs my aim is to get the readers interested and drawn in by the historical events, and also to offer another perspective on how and why things happened the way they did. To be connected with the past is at the heart of my quest to know more about it. What we humans have done through the years, the variety and the scope of these events, fascinate me. And it is this liaison with the past that makes me passionate about History.
I hold a Graduate Degree in Commerce with a Diploma in Management. Later, I decided to formalise what I had been doing informally - reading history, by doing a MA in it. Besides being a history and heritage enthusiast, I am by profession an entrepreneur providing AV solutions to corporates, educational institutes and residential premises.
I am a resident of Mumbai, earlier and popularly known as Bombay, in India. And the city continues to be the focus of my readings, research and walks.
